Presently, 400 children driven by doting pay to educate parents and 40+ faculty/staff congregate five days per week, never mind droves of visitors comparison shopping for future learning opportunities........That is a LARGE IMPACT in a neighborhood that was designed BEFORE THE ADVENT of the automobile. Cars park and double park where ever they please, clogging the neighborhood and residents and pedistrians. Youths from Wallenberg Highschool have had several near accidents crossing Turk at picking up time by the SF DAY school parents who are VERY BUSY drinking Starbucks coffee in one hand, talking on cellphones and driving with remaining hand.........more later
Please the cause is too obvious...intersections aren't dangerous...excessive vehicles in a particular location are.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18132044.post-1133374466269960712005-11-30T10:14:00.000-08:002005-11-30T10:14:00.000-08:002005-11-30T10:14:00.000-08:00Took a look at this the other day and there is no ...Took a look at this the other day and there is no "No Left Turn" sign on Masonic heading south for Golden Gate (eastbound direction). There is one heading north for a westbound GG left turn.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18132044.post-1132028804934331272005-11-14T20:26:00.000-08:002005-11-14T20:26:00.000-08:002005-11-14T20:26:00.000-08:00Just a quick question for everyone...does Golden G...Just a quick question for everyone...does Golden Gate have a "No Left Turn" sign there? From what I can remember, there is no left turn during certain times on Turk, McAllister, Fulton and Grove but not
Golden Gate. The first step would need to be getting a "No Left Turn" for certain times for that street. (and it's hard to say if the city would go for it since there would then be nowhere to take a left turn between Turk and Masonic - except maybe Hayes)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
